Haver & Boecker is seeking a Technology Application Engineer to drive and manage the technology and evaluation stage of the sales process while identifying and providing technical solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. A skilled individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills and 3- 5 years of experience in Engineering in an industry-related field is the ideal match for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering tasks utilizing computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment
  • Provide design and specification development support to sales team, consultants, integrators and customers
  • Confer with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products
  • Identify customer’s needs and sales opportunities to help future growth
  • Assist in the design and development of new products
  • Investigate and test vendor’s and competitor’s products
  • Provide technical support to customers and the sales team
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Perform technical/ product training for Sales/ After Sales teams, project managers, and engineers at targeted accounts
  • Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
  • Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company approved databases
  • Prepare and study technical drawings and specifications to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
  • Participate in customer technical meetings and travel to project sites to resolve customer issues, preform integration and training services
  • Investigate customer public complaints, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measures
  • Work with Camos team to develop additional configurators as needed

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor of the Arts/Bachelor of Science in Engineering in a Technical Field or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience in a related industry
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to read architectural, mechanical and electrical blueprints with a solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical control systems
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD, Inventor, Solid Edge)
  • Proficient English communication skills, a second language would be an asset (Spanish, German)
  • Ability to travel

Haver & Boecker USA is seeking an experienced Automation Technician to program and troubleshoot controls programs for robotic palletizing systems and other automated machinery. Strong programming and troubleshooting skills are required!

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate automation processes, robot programming
  • Set up, test and troubleshoot robotic systems
  • Change, document, and maintain configuration control of programs for production systems including robots
  • Perform investigative procedures to troubleshoot problems with control logic, control hardware devices and field devices and data communication
  • Assist with production system moves, new installations, and upgrades to existing systems by commissioning and validation testing and support execution
  • Prepare installation and testing scope and effort estimates and perform the installation tasks, including testing and documentation of the automation systems
  • Ensure standards are maintained in a highly regulated, process-driven environment
  • Comply with HBU’s safety procedures

Your Profile:

  • Technical degree and 3-5 years of experience in robotic palletizing
  • Exceptional technical understanding with the ability to follow and comprehend complex processes

  • Conduct inspection visits and purchase service and installation materials if required

  • Process and manage technical and commercial quotations and orders through quotation software
  • Keep quotation software current by updating project status accordingly
  • Schedule and manage New Order Sheet meetings
  • Participate in on-site customer Kick-Off meetings

Haver & Boecker USA is seeking experienced Industrial Mechanics for our Production Team!

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical and electrical background and should be flexible. You will assemble and build equipment according to mechanical, pneumatic and schematic drawings and perform other various duties within the assembly department to meet departmental goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Build equipment as specified in drawings and pneumatic diagrams and install pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical components
  • Installation and wiring of all electrical components in the machine including PLC’s, contactors, motors and terminal blocks according to schematic drawings
  • Test equipment, components and parts during and after assembly and correct errors and malfunctions if required
  • Prepare components and equipment for dispatch and detach and label parts if necessary
  • Ensure equipment is secured and packed for shipping
  • Load and unload freight trucks

Your Profile:

  • A technical degree with at least 3 years of experience
  • An outstanding technical understanding
  • A high level of detail and accuracy
