Field Service Technician

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and repair of equipment at customer’s facility
  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Conduct inspection visits
  • Perform service procedures within the scheduled time
  • Conduct customer and end-user on-site training
  • Read and interpret electrical documentation, hardware drawings and program terms for troubleshooting

Your Profile:

Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electrician

Haver & Boecker USA is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join our Assembly team! In this position, you will assemble and build equipment according to mechanical, pneumatic and schematic drawings, and perform all electrical aspects of the assembly process such as wiring components and installation of PLCs. You will also perform other various duties within the assembly department to meet departmental goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Build all equipment as specified in drawings and pneumatic diagrams and install pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical components
  • Installation and wiring of all electrical components in the machine including PLC’s, contactors, motors, and terminal blocks according to schematic drawings
  • Test equipment, components, and parts during and after assembly and correct errors and malfunctions if required
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Test components such as photo eyes, sensors, motors, breakers, contactors, etc.
  • Build control stations
  • Prepare components and equipment for dispatch and detach and label parts if necessary
  • Operate forklifts and cranes
  • Provide technical support to customers and other departments if required
  • Troubleshoot various types of equipment and conduct service and installation visits at customer facilities if required

Your Profile:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an industry-related field
  • Journeyman Electrician certified (preferred)
  • Excellent technical understanding
  • knowledge of pneumatic controls and assembly
  • High level of detail and accuracy
  • Proficient English communication skills (a second language would be an asset Spanish, German)
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and pneumatic drawings
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools
  • Training in explosion-proof machines according to EU standard (ATEX directive)

You will be responsible for leading and managing all sales activities in your designated territory to the achievement of the company's sales goals. Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer sales by creating customized solutions and offering the technologies and services as suited to industry-specific requirements
  • Understand market potential and identify target industries and customers
  • Schedule visits to potential customers and maintain close contact with existing customers through regular on-site visits and communication
  • Process and manage technical and commercial quotations and orders through quotation software
  • Keep quotation software current by updating project status accordingly
  • Schedule and manage New Order Sheet meetings
  • Participate in on-site customer Kick-Off meetings
  • Attend and participate in customer training, sales meetings, trade shows and conferences as required
  • Complete and submit customer contact reports
  • Interact with Haver affiliates for technical and commercial support
  • Work closely with Project Management and Engineering departments

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience

  • Ability to travel extensively

Haver & Boecker USA is seeking support in the Logistics and Procurement departments for entering and processing data and keeping the SAP database up-to-date.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter data into SAP database
  • Check order confirmations and data lists for accuracy and compare with information in SAP database

Shipping and Receiving Clerk

SHIPPING AND RECEIVING CLERK

Haver & Boecker USA is looking for knowledgeable and motivated Shipping and Receiving Clerks to join our team! The ideal candidate has 3- 4 years of Logistics and Warehouse experience, including inventory management, order picking, cycle counting, and the shipping and receiving of spare parts and components.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive all shipments, verify contents, inspect for damages and relocate to designated area
  • Notify Procurement Specialist of damages, shortages or overages of vendor shipments
  • Forward supporting documentation to Inventory Control Specialist
  • Confer with the Production Department to coordinate production orders
  • Pick, pack and issue delivery notes for all orders
  • Arrange shipments with carriers
  • Coordinate returns of damaged items/goods to customers or vendors including data entry, preparation and shipment
  • Assist other departments with shipping needs and respond to shipping related questions
  • Generate Bills of Lading for freight shipments and input into SAP
  • Assist Project Managers and interact with freight forwarders to coordinate freight shipments if requested
  • Organize component shelves and ensure Warehouse is clean and safe
  • Assist the production department with the supply of components to be installed
  • Other duties as requested

Your Profile:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • A high level of detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient English communication skills
  • Computer skills ( MS Office, SAP, third party carrier software, i.e. FedEx and UPS)
  • Forklift trained
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
