About The Position:

  • Installation and repair of equipment at customer’s facility
  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Conduct inspection visits and purchase service and installation materials if required
  • Work closely with project management prior to and during installation to cover technical aspects and project
    specifics
  • Collaborate with Spare Parts Department and request parts required for installation and servicing of equipment
  • Perform service procedures within the scheduled time
  • Conduct customer and end-user on-site training
  • Monitor equipment in collaboration with assembly and user group at customer site
  • Read and interpret electrical documentation, hardware drawings and program terms for troubleshooting
  • Read and comprehend plant drawings and layouts
  • Participate in training and service meetings as requested
  • Assist in the assembly department if required
  • Prepare service reports and complete and submit all service documentation according to HBU’s guidelines
  • Ensure personal expenses are within set budget
  • Interact with other Haver Group affiliates if required
  • Perform all work in compliance with safety standards and guidelines

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced technical skills
  • Computer skills (MS Office, SAP)
  • Knowledge in Siemens S7, AB PLC’s, touch panels (Siemens or Allen Bradley), Servo drives (e.g. SEW), Bus systems (Wago or Turck), weighing technology
  • Proficient English communication skills, second language would be an asset (Spanish, German)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work under minimal supervision
  • A high level of detail and accuracy
  • Service oriented
  • Flexible with the ability to travel 90% of the time

About The Position:

  • Drive customer sales by identifying customer needs and offering customized solutions and spare parts for existing equipment
  • Read schematic and mechanical drawings to identify and locate parts
  • Coordinate travel routes within assigned territory and schedule inspection and sales visits
  • Address customer concerns and provide technical support
  • Generate and forward retrofit quotes
  • Follow-up on spare parts and retrofit inquiries
  • Work closely with Spare Parts Specialists by requesting spare parts quotes
  • Document technical information and keep an organized filing system
  • Enter technical documentation into shared database

Job Duties:

  • Build Haver equipment, specifically Integra 1- 4, Inline Type Air, Inline Type Vertical Impeller and Inline Type Horizontal Impeller, as specified in drawings and pneumatic diagrams and install pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical components
  • Test equipment, components and parts during and after assembly and correct errors and malfunctions if required
  • Build pallets and crates utilized for shipping of equipment
  • Prepare components and equipment for dispatch and detach and label parts if necessary
  • Ensure equipment is secured and packed for shipping
  • Load and unload freight trucks
  • Operate forklifts and cranes
  • Provide technical support to other departments if required
  • Troubleshoot various types of equipment, specifically Integra 1- 4, Inline Type Air, Inline Type Vertical Impeller and Inline Type Horizontal Impeller
  • Conduct technical training for new employees

Job Duties:

  • Develop project plan/schedule and coordinate required resources to meet scheduled deadlines for the entire project
  • Understand the scope of the project, take ownership and act as the primary contact for the customer
  • Participate in New Order Sheet meetings to determine, understand and communicate all aspects of the project (values, financial terms and conditions)
  • Schedule internal technical meetings to clarify the scope of project with engineering, as well as schedule on-site Kick-Off meetings
  • Follow-up at all project phases to keep the project on track to meet expectations
  • Communicate project updates with customers and other internal/external parties
  • Schedule FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) if required
  • Organize and document all commercial and technical aspects of the project in SAP
  • Coordinate shipping and delivery of equipment
  • Request & compare quotes from third party suppliers/vendors and choose the most competitive option to minimize costs
  • Responsible for coordinating and scheduling contractors, service technicians and other third parties involved in the installation
  • Ensure customer requirements and needs are met before, during and after installation and throughout the warranty phase
  • Act as key contact for Service Technicians during installation process
