Jr. Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking an entry-level Mechanical Design Engineer who is interested and motivated to learn about new technologies and become part of an outstanding team!

In this role, you will go through an extensive learning phase, which will equip you with the knowledge and tools necessary to take on the role of Mechanical Design Engineer at Haver.

Responsibilities:

• Create and revise 2D and 3D mechanical drawings
• Provide quotation drawings and project drawings to meet customer requirements
• Classification and documentation of parts and assemblies in SAP
• Create Bills of Material for the manufacturing of equipment
• Work closely with Project Management and provide assistance and advice concerning all technical aspects
• Provide engineering support to vendors
• Provide technicians with technical support during the assembly process
• Source parts from vendors, request and compare quotes
• Participate in internal and external meetings

Your profile:

• Recent graduation with bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Outstanding technical understanding with the ability to follow and comprehend complex processes
• Advanced mathematical skills
• Exceptional computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD, SAP, Solid Edge)
• Proficient English communication skills (a second language would be an asset, i.e., Spanish, German)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A high level of detail and accuracy
• The ability to work independently and in a team environment
