The Challange
An existing customer came to us with a challenge looking for a valve bag filler that can support filling Ultra-Light Powders into 50 lb bags. The challenge in this product comes from the product characteristic where the material is extremely light, and the bag sizes required to fill a 50 lb bag are quite larger than 50 lb bags of comparable products.
The Solution
Haver & Boecker USA met with the customer to firstly perform an analysis of the product as well as the bags that the product is going into. The solution was our Integra IVL2 with an adapted taller body to support the larger bag sizes. This automated valve bag filler features two pneumatic (air) filling systems with ultra-sonic sealing and comes with two bag magazine carts that allow the operator to easily refill the machine with bags during batches. After the valve bags are filled and sealed, the bags are dropped onto the conveying system below to be palletized downstream.
